Family policies
Photos of your child
We ask your written permission before we share any photo of your child, on this site, in newsletters or on social media, and you can change your answer at any time. We never put a child's name with a photo, and the photos on this site are examples until we replace them with our own.
When to keep your child home
Please keep your child home with a fever, vomiting or a rash you can't explain, and for a full day after the symptoms end. Call us in the morning and we'll note it.
Drop-off and pickup
A teacher hands your child to you at the room door, and we release a child only to the people on your written list. We ask anyone we don't know for ID.
Late pickup
If you're running late, call the front desk. We stay with your child until you arrive, and we talk through a pattern of late pickups with you in private.
Meals, snacks and allergies
Toddlers and twos eat meals and snacks at the low table. For babies, you bring bottles or breast milk labeled with your baby's name, or tell us which formula to prepare, and we feed on your baby's own rhythm. Tell us about any allergy at your tour; once you enroll, we ask again in private.
Naps and safe sleep
Babies sleep on their backs, in their own crib, with nothing else in the crib. Toddlers and twos rest on a mat in a quiet room, each on their own schedule.
Closures for weather and holidays
We close for major holidays and Juneteenth, and the closures are listed on the home page. For snow or storms, we call every family and post on the website before opening.
What to wear and bring
Bring a spare outfit or two, and a jacket or sun hat for the weather. Please leave jewelry at home.
Leaving the program
We ask for notice in writing before your child leaves; the tuition page says how long. A teacher can give you notes to take to the next program.
