Safety routines

  • Sleep

Babies sleep on their backs, in their own crib, with nothing else in the crib.

  • Feeding

Bottles and meals follow your baby's own rhythm, not a clock. A teacher writes down each feed and tells you at pickup.

  • Drop-off and pickup

A teacher takes your child from you at the room door and hands them back to you. We release a child only to the people on your written list.

  • Clean hands

Hands are washed on arrival, before every feed and after outdoor play, by teachers and toddlers alike.

  • Allergies

Name any allergy at your tour and we'll plan around it. After you enroll, we ask for the details in private.

  • Drills

Each room practices fire and weather drills with the teacher who leads it, at a pace children can follow.

Sleep and feeding

How sleep and feeding work, in plain words

Sleep

Babies sleep on their backs, in their own crib, with nothing else in the crib. A teacher checks on each sleeping baby in the room, and you hear how the nap went at pickup.

Feeding

We feed on your baby's own rhythm. You bring bottles or breast milk labeled with your baby's name, or tell us which formula to prepare, and a teacher writes down each feed.

Who comes in

Every teacher has a background check and current CPR and first aid training. We release your child only to the people on your written list, and we ask anyone we don't know for ID.
