Shernette Oliphant
Owner and director
Shernette opened Bootie so parents who start early shifts have a place to leave their babies with someone steady. She greets families at the door and knows every child by name.
Shernette worked hospital shifts herself and found that early, trusted infant care was hard to come by in Canton. She wants every family to meet her, and read the license, before they decide.

How Shernette runs the center
Shernette is the first person you meet at a tour and the person you call when your shift changes. She goes through tuition in writing and shows you the license.
When it is time for the next room, she talks with you before anyone moves, and your child visits first with a teacher they already know.
